Abstract

|
This research was carried out in order to explore factors that affect happiness of social workers, to develop a scale that can be used to measure happiness of social workers, and to verify the developed scale. For the purposes, following efforts have been made in this research. First, factors are explored that could affect happy life for operational definition of the concept of happiness that can be shared by a bibliographical study and the targets of this survey. Second, a scale was developed that can be used to measure happiness of social workers with emphasis on the aspects of social welfare by analyzing the factors that affect the concept of the explored happiness as well as the happiness. Third, an attempt was made to verify reliability and validity of the happiness scale. Fourth, a structured scale was completed that can be used to measure happiness of social workers.
